Hood Custom Sizing
The 60-inch model establishes the original relationship between the crown, chimney, transition, and apron. Width, total height, depth, chimney taper, apron height, lower projection, and crown extension may be changed. Each section is recalculated together so the enclosure keeps its tall character.
Project Measurements
Provide the cooking-surface width, hood width, ceiling height, mounting height, depth, clearances, duct route, and selected insert. Island projects also require structural-support information.
Insert Planning
The copper body is fabricated as an insert-ready shell. For domestic kitchens, Rustica House can supply an optional 200 CFM insert, or prepare the enclosure for a buyer-provided internal insert up to 1,260 CFM or an external blower up to 1,500 CFM after review. Submit liner dimensions, controls, lighting, duct outlet, electrical needs, and service clearances before production.
Approval Drawing
When dimensions or chimney and apron proportions change, a project-specific production drawing is prepared around the approved insert. It documents exterior measurements, the lower opening, duct position, and principal section relationships for buyer approval. Production normally takes about eight weeks after final approval.
Design Difference
Unlike broad pyramidal or bell hoods, this model concentrates most of its height in the upper body and limits the lower flare to a compact section. It remains tall and linear while retaining a substantial capture area.
Tall Architecture
The front elevation forms a stepped double taper. The chimney widens gradually, meets a narrow ledge, and then flares toward the cooking surface without rounded sidewalls.
