Custom Sizing

Each hood is made to order so its dimensions can be coordinated with the cooking surface, surrounding cabinetry, backsplash, ceiling height, and installation conditions. Standard widths include 28, 30, 36, 42, 48, 54, 60, 66, 72, and 78 inches. Heights range from 24 to 72 inches, with a standard depth of 24 inches. Bell curvature, chimney proportions, apron height, lower projection, and overall dimensions can be reviewed together so a larger or smaller hood preserves the balanced proportions of the original design.

Measurements Needed

Provide the cooking-surface width, requested hood width, available overall height, mounting height, backsplash thickness, adjacent cabinet clearances, desired depth, and proposed duct route. Kitchen island installations also require ceiling height, cooktop centerline, structural-support locations, and dimensions for every exposed side. Insert Planning

The copper enclosure is fabricated as an insert-ready shell. Rustica House can supply an optional 200 CFM insert for compatible residential applications. This range hood supports buyer-supplied internal inserts up to 1,260 CFM and external blower systems up to 1,500 CFM. Other inserts, liners, built-in blowers, and remote blower equipment are buyer supplied. Complete manufacturer specifications must be provided before production, including insert dimensions, liner opening, controls, lighting, filters, duct diameter, discharge position, electrical requirements, mounting method, and service clearances.

Drawing Approval

For custom dimensions or buyer-supplied ventilation, the bell curve, chimney proportions, apron height, internal opening, finished depth, and duct centerline can be coordinated before production approval.
