Measurements Needed

Insert Planning

Other inserts, liners, built-in blowers, and remote blower equipment are buyer supplied. Complete manufacturer specifications must be provided before production, including insert dimensions, liner opening, controls, lighting, filters, duct diameter, discharge position, electrical requirements, mounting method, and service clearances.

Drawing Approval

For custom dimensions or buyer-supplied ventilation, the bell curvature, chimney dimensions, crown, apron height, finished depth, internal opening, and duct centerline can be coordinated before production approval. This planning step is particularly important when the hood must align precisely with upper cabinetry, backsplash tile, architectural millwork, ceiling details, or an existing duct location.
