Installation

Shipping & Returns

Production takes approximately eight weeks after final specifications are approved. Each hood is protected in an insured shipping crate, with free freight delivery provided within the mainland United States. Warranty

Rustica House provides manufacturing coverage for qualifying workmanship issues according to the terms of its written warranty. Cleaning & Maintenance

After forming and hammering, the zinc is protected with a clear lacquer coating that preserves the silver-gray appearance and slows oxidation. Minor tonal movement may still develop near heat, moisture, cooking residue, or frequently handled areas. Clean the hood with mild soap and a soft cloth, then dry the surface promptly. Avoid abrasive pads, acidic cleaners, ammonia, harsh degreasers, metal polish, and scouring compounds. Do not apply wax unless it has been specifically approved for the selected lacquer coating.
