Custom Sizing

Each hood is fabricated to order so its width, height, depth, chimney proportions, bell curvature, crown projection, strap spacing, and lower apron can coordinate with the surrounding kitchen architecture. Standard widths range from 28 to 78 inches, heights from 24 to 72 inches, and standard depth is 24 inches. Custom dimensions are also available. When the enclosure is resized, the curved canopy, forged iron straps, stepped crown, and molded apron are proportioned together to preserve the original visual balance.

Measurements Needed

Provide the cooking-surface width, desired hood width, overall height, ceiling height, mounting height, finished depth, backsplash thickness, nearby cabinet clearances, and planned duct location. Island installations also require the cooktop centerline and ceiling framing information. Ventilation

Buyer-supplied internal inserts up to 1,260 CFM and external blower systems up to 1,500 CFM can also be accommodated when complete equipment specifications are provided before fabrication. Drawing Approval

Final dimensions and mechanical requirements are confirmed before production. For buyer-supplied equipment, provide the manufacturer, model, body dimensions, cutout dimensions, duct diameter and location, controls, lighting, filters, electrical requirements, and service clearances. The production drawing allows the buyer, designer, contractor, cabinetmaker, and ventilation installer to verify the bell proportions, crown projection, strap placement, apron form, insert opening, duct centerline, and surrounding clearances before fabrication begins.

Bell Architecture

The silhouette progresses from a narrow rectangular chimney through a defined neck into a deeply concave bell canopy. Unlike pyramidal hoods built from straight diagonal planes, this body stays relatively narrow beneath the chimney before curving progressively outward toward the cooking surface. The resulting profile has a sculptural, furniture-like character that works especially well in traditional kitchens. Deep Concave Profile

The bell canopy is defined by long inward-to-outward curves rather than straight sloping sides.
