Colonial Wall Stone Fountain Care
It is not that complicated to care for this colonial wall stone fountain. Occasionally, rains the wall and the fountain basin with warm soppy water. Check the basin occasionally for debris and remove them. Once a year mix together one table spoon of dish detergent with water. Clean the basin including tiles with the solution using a soft nylon brush. Make sure the mixture enters crevices and pores. Since the architectural stone is soft be careful not to scratch it. Use a circular motion to scrub it. Then wash the fountain with cool water using a garden hose. Making the wall fountain from some canteras might prolong the production as it takes time to source the material. Electrical parts like the pump nor the pipe itself are included in the offer. You can purchase them at any home hardware or building supply once the fountain is delivered. Any stone wall fountain when wet looks darker, it is quite normal. The fountain will recover its natural color once it is dry. Installing the wall fountain outdoors in the cold climate requires extra care. Expending freezing water might damage the stone. Cover it with a tarp while it is still warm.
