Mexican Bathroom Sinks (drop-in and undermount sink installation)
1. Since no template is provided with the mexican bathroom sink, place the bowl upside down on the countertop and draw a line all around it.
2. Draw a second line about 3/4 inch inside that line to be used for cutting the opening in the countertop.
3. Drill 3/8-inch starter hole inside the cut line and begin cutting the counter-top along the line.
4. Drop mexican bathroom sink into the hole and make any adjustments if necessary.
5. Place a bead of plumber's putty around the bottom edge of the drain-assembly lip and press the housing into the drain hole.
6. Attach the gasket with washer and tighten the locknut by hand. Using the wrench may damage the sink.
If you didn't install the faucet yet turn the talavera sink upside down and place silicone along the the lip. Turn the sink over and carefully align it with the countertop edge. Press firmly along the lip to form a tight seal.
7. Set the sink in place, firmly pressing down all edges to assure a secure seal.
