Mexican tile dimensions are approximate therefore while installing talavera tiles on the wall leaving 1/4 spaces between each tile is recommended. Mexican tiles are water resistant traditionally used for kitchen backslash walls, counter-tops, bathroom and shower walls and low traffic floor areas.
