Mexican ceramic high relief tile dimensions are approximate therefore while installing talavera tiles leaving 1/4 spaces between each tile is recommended. Mexican high relief border tiles are water resistant therefore beside kitchen backslash walls and counters they are often used for bathroom shower walls, stair risers, trims and tile borders.
